Near the end they took some of us on a tour of the rest of the house and told some wonderful stories. The venue itself was amazing with lots of character, and wonderful staff. I would suggest seeing if you could try it before the event and deciding if you wanted to find someone else to cater it. The only complaint I had was the food, I wasnt fussy on, although my sister thought it was fine, I thought for the price they charged for catering it could have been better. The reception area around the pool was very classy, and again the staff took good care of us.
We were treated very well by the entire staff, at one point at the reception we realized that an important box had been left at the hotel valet, one of the beautiful staff members got on the phone and spent 40 mins trying to help us find this box. The wedding itself was so beautiful, the room that they got married in is spectacular, you have to google it and look at the pictures of the staircases coming down. We had the wedding at 1pm and the reception there at 6pm. My friends got married at this place on 11-11-11.
